How do I review an action independently?

Open the Review queue and select Independent action review to claim a sample. Assess whether the action should be permitted, require approval, be rejected, or cannot be assessed. Record potential harm separately and confirm that you have not seen the original decision.

Independent review card with separate permission and potential-harm judgments and an unseen-decision confirmation

Assess the action before seeing its earlier verdict. Choosing a judgment here does not permit the tool to run.

The review card hides the earlier decision, result, and run identifiers. A member who approved the original call cannot review that sample. If you already know the decision, pass the sample to another reviewer. Claims expire so abandoned work can be picked up again.

A judgment does not approve the action or change a live permission. It contributes to the evidence for the proposed permission configuration. Missing or unknown judgments do not establish permission. This workflow reduces presentation bias; it cannot erase prior knowledge a privileged reviewer acquired elsewhere.

Understand measured permissions.
