# EU AI Act evidence

Orlo connects tests, releases, production results, and human decisions. These records can help your team assemble evidence for an AI governance program.

## Relevant evidence

| Review question | Orlo records to inspect |
| --- | --- |
| How was performance tested? | Dataset versions, candidate answers, scoring settings, uncertainty, and reviewed examples |
| What ran for a request? | Task version, release, model, validation results, and retrieved passages |
| What oversight happened? | Held agent actions, exact arguments, approval decisions, actors, and timing |
| What changed after production review? | Corrections, saved steps, dataset lineage, comparisons, and releases |

The EU AI Act includes requirements on record-keeping and human oversight for high-risk AI systems. Consult the European Commission’s [Article 12 guidance text](https://ai-act-service-desk.ec.europa.eu/en/ai-act/article-12) and [Article 14 guidance text](https://ai-act-service-desk.ec.europa.eu/en/ai-act/article-14), and the [Regulation on EUR-Lex](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/1689/oj), for the legal provisions.

## Use records within your review process

Identify the system, intended use, responsible people, and applicable obligations with your legal and compliance team. Then decide which records, retention periods, and review procedures that system requires. Verify the relevant integration actually reports the work and enforces agent decisions before relying on its history.

Orlo does not determine legal classification, perform a conformity assessment, or certify compliance. Its records support your organization’s assessment; they do not replace it. See [Read the evidence](/governance/operational-evidence) for what each record establishes.
